In realtà non ho avuto un partner fisso, problematica che si è creata purtroppo a causa di una persona che ha abbandonato il progetto anticipatamente e solamente nelle ultime 4 conversazioni ho avuto sempre lo stesso partner, ovvero Stephanie con la quale mi sono trovata anche molto bene. In ogni caso ciò mi ha permesso di conoscere tante nuove persone e di in un certo senso modellarmi alle necessità di ciascuno approcciandomi in maniera differente con chi mi trovavo di fronte. In conclusione posso dire che oltre ad aver migliorato il mio inglese ho anche avuto la possibilità di mettermi in gioco, soprattutto in quei casi in cui mi sono trovata di fronte una persone con cui si creava un determinato feeling. Ringrazio Giovanni e tutte le professoresse che hanno reso possibile questo progetto.

I really loved my partner and think we were a perfect match. I think it was helpful to use Italian in casual conversation with an Italian speaker and definitely helped improve my language.

The Zoom language exchange program was incredibly helpful for my language journey as it allowed me to put the grammar and language structures learned in class into practice! By having the ability to build a connection with a fluent speaker in Italy, I was able to improve my confidence in speaking the language and learn further about contemporary Italian culture.

the best thing about this fantastic project is that you can meet new friends, also learning and teaching at the same time

I had a lot of fun doing it and meeting my partner! I would definitely do this again or recommend doing it.

The way to truly learn a language and it's culture is through these types of conversation. I absolutly have LOVED it and believe it should be a requirement for any language program!

I loved it and I am proud to say that Gioia and I will continue to be friends and intend to continue practicing our languages together :D

In questo semestre ho avuto l’opportunità di parlare con una studentessa di Pescara grazie al Professoressa D’ Amanda e a Giovanni Minnicucci. Si chiama Liana e siamo buoni amici. Parliamo ogni domenica e lei mi aiutò a praticare il mio italiano e a imparare la cultura italiana. Sono grato di avere questa opportunità. Vorrei visitare Liana e la sua famiglia un giorno a Pescara, da cui proviene anche la mia famiglia.

Ottima occasione per conoscere nuove culture e nuove persone e per migliorare lo speaking in inglese

First of all I enjoyed so much this events and the topics. Giovanni organized everything so well, making everything easier. This events helped me improving my English and also they gave me the chance to know a bit more of the American Culture I'm so in love with. Also, Roneet was so curious and he learned everytime more of the Italian language and culture, also asking me questions about our way of living. Roneet is such a nice person and a friend and I'm surely going to keep in touch with him.
