ITALengUSA was born from the desire to promote the knowledge of Italian and English/American language and culture through weekly online meetings during which the students can practice the two languages, socialize and establish friendships. The students involved have found the experience enriching and challenging from a linguistic, cultural and personal point of view.

I believed that in the historical moment of Covid-19, characterized by restrictions and changes imposed by the pandemic, it was extremely important to motivate young people in order to help them find the enthusiasm and the desire to learn new things, develop interests, make friends and share common interests even outside the physical learning spaces.

Dear ITALengUSA Community,

I want to take a moment to extend my sincerest gratitude to every one of you for your dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to our Sunday sessions at ITALengUSA.

Whether you joined us at the beginning of the semester or recently became a part of our family, your presence has added immense value to our language exchange experience.

As we are at the end of this semester, I want to express my appreciation for your commitment and active participation. Remember that ITALengUSA is more than just a language exchange; it's a supportive community where we celebrate each other's successes and empower one another to reach new heights.

Thank you once again for your outstanding contributions to our program this semester. Your passion and dedication truly made our Sunday sessions something special!

Ho sempre amato gli Stati Uniti ma non ho mai avuto la possibilità di conoscerli così da vicino. Il programma è ben formato, gli argomenti forniti ogni settimana sono stati molto interessanti, e mi hanno aperto a diverse visioni del mondo, mi hanno dato anche la possibilità di conoscere meglio il sistema universitario americano, a cui ero particolarmente interessata e cosa che mi ha spinta a partecipare.

La mancata partecipazione del mio partner ad alcuni incontri mi ha dato la possibilità di conoscere anche altre ragazze, con cui ho stretto amicizia. Potessi farlo di nuovo, non ci penserei due volte.
